Don't worry, civilization is just ephermal. It will end one day

It is extremely obvious to me that human civilization is ephermal. It will end one day. And its ending is probably much closer than (almost anyone) could have expected. I realized that human civilization is fundamentally unsustainable and irredemably corrupt. There is really no way to justify the existence of human civilization from any ethical perspective. 

How is it ethical for a handful of corrupt psychopaths to completely control our society? It simply isn't. And therefore these BS religions (like Christianity, Hinduism and every other religion imaginable) and political ideologies (like capitalism and democracy) are invented to justify the status quo. The elites claim that their control over society is given to them via some supernatural authority. But it isn't. They need the justification of "divine authority" to justify their control over human society.

But any intelligent person knows that there is no God/gods. There never was. And there never is. Just some mythology to justify the rule of the elites.

"What about science? Isn't that just made up by humans, too?" Yes, science was also invented by humans (like religion), but it is verified by evidence. And not just anthropocentric delusions--like religion.

"What about moral and ethical code? Don't you need religion as a foundation for good morals?" This question is completely irrelevant, because religion is just a form of delusion. Sure, human society needs an ethical code, but why must we need religion to determine it? Of course, I know that the vast majority of people believe in this religious nonsense, so the idea of an ethical code that can exist outside of religion completely escapes their perception of reality.

Of course, all this rambling about ethics and morality is ultimately pointless and futile when you realize the reality of near term human extinction. Maybe, humans are just a rapacious disease on this planet that will inevitably go extinct one day? Let that thought sink in for you. Human civilization is ulitimately pointless, because there ultimately won't be anymore humans on this planet sooner or later...probably in the relatively near future.

How can people deny the obvious?

Apparently, a large portion of humanity denies the obvious realities of human overpopulation/population overshoot and environmental degradation. There is a common myth about how technology can supposedly fix all of the world's problems. I would assume that this denial of reality is largely rooted in willful ignorance and scientific illiteracy. Not to mention the 24/7 brainwashing, by mainstream media, has cemented this denial and willful ignorance. How will capitalism end?

It is already extremely obvious that we are living near the end of the industrial age...meaning that global capitalism is nearing its end. Of course, I don't expect anything to replace capitalism, after it ends. I do suspect that global capitalism will not go away...until the collapse of industrial civilization (CoIC) and near-term human extinction (NTHE) finally arrives.  I do suspect that industrial civilization will end rather abruptly and catastrophically. And its end will come as a "surprise" for most people, since most people never saw it coming.
